An international charity which builds peace through education, equipping and empowering children and young people in Syria and Iraq to be agents of love and reconciliation.
We fulfil our mission in five ways:
We enable Christians to live a generous and hospitable faith;
We build partnerships between people of faith through initiatives and events;
We work to build understanding between the West and the Near East;
We work to enable young people in Syria and Iraq to promote peace and reconciliation; and
We help children in Syria to regain hope and become beacons of peace and love.
We are active in the UK, North America (USA and Canada), the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine), and in Hong Kong. We work with all Christian denominations, and we partner with many other faith organisations and leaders.
Founded in London in 2003 by The Revd Nadim Nassar, we have evolved as an international educational charity, offering a wide range of programmes all over the world in diverse venues including churches, universities, community centres and prisons.
Ambassadors for Peace programme: An ecumenical educational programme for young people (aged 20-35) in Syria and Iraq, empowering them to develop their own sustainable peace-building projects to change their communities and promote peace and reconciliation.
