Objectives

We are a community and rights service for those with care experience. We have physical support services in Devon but anyone in the country can contact us through our website. Children in Care, Care Leavers or those with care experiences are statistically less likely to go to university than their peers, or to get as many GCSE's. The stats are poor and have not really changed in the last 10 years or so. We want to change this. To work together, to give anyone in this community someone to talk too but more than that, a sense of belonging and ownership over Avocados, offering positive experiences and role models to increase a positive sense of self worth and help develop aspirations and opportunities. We are user led, with a developing committee of those with care experience.
