Objectives

The Avenues Youth Project was founded 40 years ago and continues to be one of London's leading youth centres. Although we are based in one of the most deprived wards in West London our energetic and enthusiastic team provide opportunities for young people to succeed, with a diverse programme of activities for children and young people aged 8 – 18.  Our aim is to support them in a safe and friendly environment so that they broaden their horizons, to become healthy, confident, young adults, motivated and equipped with the skills to lead positive, creative and fulfilled lives.

Activities

We provide a safe space for children and young people aged 8 to 18 to play and socialise, develop friendships, acquire new skills, and receive advice, support and encouragement from our team of trained youth workers. We open our doors after school, in the evenings, on Saturdays and throughout school holidays. All activities are free to access. Our purpose-built facility includes a sports hall, music studio, radio broadcasting suite, training kitchen, dance studio, classroom and art & design studio.
