Objectives

Autism at Kingwood is a charity which provides person-centred support to approximately 130 autistic adults and people with Asperger Syndrome, across the Thames Valley.

We provide excellent supported living & outreach support, where enable  people we support to live in their own homes and make their own choices about the lives they want to lead.

Activities

Autism at Kingwood is a caring employer to over 300 people and we really recognise the value of our staff. Encouraging personal development at all levels, we provide extensive training to staff throughout their career. Staff stay with us and we are proud of our low turnover rate – half the average for this sector. We work hard to maintain staff motivation to demonstrate how valued staff are.

Of course, the autistic people we support is at the heart of everything we do. But the Autism at Kingwood values extend to the whole Kingwood family – people we support, staff, families and supporters – and the value that underpins everything we do is kindness.
