Who We Help (Our Beneficiaries):

At The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC, we support parents, carers, and professionals who work with individuals affected by ADHD and autism. Our beneficiaries are primarily families who are navigating the complexities of caring for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as professionals such as teachers, social workers, and healthcare providers who seek to improve their understanding and support strategies. We also serve vulnerable individuals with ADHD who are struggling with addiction or involved in the criminal justice system, providing them with targeted support to better understand their condition and manage their behaviours.

How We Help (Our Services):

We provide a range of services to equip families and professionals with the tools they need to offer meaningful support:

  • Family Support Services: Weekly online workshops, one-to-one coaching, and support groups focusing on crucial topics like executive functioning, sensory processing, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), and behavioural management.
  • Professional Training (CPD): Tailored training programs for professionals working in education, healthcare, and social care, aimed at increasing their ability to effectively support children and individuals with ADHD and autism.
  • Pilot Programmes: ADHD screening and tailored support programs for adults and children with substance dependencies or those involved with the criminal justice system, helping them to understand their neurodevelopmental condition and make positive changes.

Why Our Help Matters (Our Impact):

Our services are vital because they fill a gap in understanding and support for families and individuals dealing with ADHD and autism. By providing accessible resources, we empower parents and carers to better understand their children's needs, reducing stress and improving family dynamics. For professionals, our training improves their capacity to support neurodiverse individuals, leading to better educational and social outcomes for those in their care.

Our pilot programmes are especially critical for those struggling with addiction or involved in the criminal justice system. By addressing ADHD, we provide an often-overlooked component of support, helping individuals break negative cycles and build healthier, more positive futures. Our work creates a ripple effect, improving not only the lives of individuals but also their families and the wider community.
