Activities

ALERC provides a voice for over 40 Local Environmental Records Centre Members and facilitates collaboration with them on behalf of our regional and national stakeholders, eg. Environment Agency, National Biodiversity Network Trust, UKHab Ltd.

ALERC runs an LERC accreditation system to ensure common standards across our sector, and delivers professional development to its Members’ employees, Recent sessions have included R Programming, Governance, Full Cost Recovery and Biodiversity Net Gain Gain.  ALERC engages with its members through a monthly eNews and Update plus an online Forum.
