Ask Brook is a service giving sexual health information, support and signposting for anyone under 25, anywhere in the UK. We are part of Brook, the UK’s leading provider of sexual health services and advice for young people under 25.
We are the only charity working across the UK and Channel Islands that specialises in working with young people to promote their sexual health in the wider context of health and wellbeing.
Brook provides free and confidential information, contraception, pregnancy testing, advice and counselling, and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. We provide support services and programmes to help young people make positive and healthy lifestyle choices and to improve their wellbeing.
Our education work, in schools and community venues, supports emotional development and the learning of core life skills, with specific programmes that address the needs of the most vulnerable young people. Our training for professionals is designed to improve young people’s experience of health and education, and our publications cover a broad range of sexual health issues.
We work in partnership with young people to fight for a society that has a positive attitude to young people, sexuality and identity. Participation at Brook is a process through which young people can be heard, influence decisions and effect real change.
