Objectives

ACS offers low-cost* counselling for those with problems in everyday life. Many clients are referred to us by their GP because (a) our reputation is high and (b) our waiting list is short. "Low-cost" means a donation per session is negotiated at the first encounter with the administrator. The average donation at present is about £24 but financial circumstances are taken into account. Some clients pay as little as £5.

Activities

Clients are counselled at our premises (3 counselling rooms + an office). Counsellors all work to BACP standards and we have 3 Supervisors who meet with their team fortnightly. We have a p/t Manager, a p/t Administrator and a Clinical Lead.
