Activities

We deliver small and large scale arts projects that are relevant and distinctive to participants situation and place. We deliver our activities through our five creative programmes to improve the lives of people across North Powys, Wrexham and the borders. Our creative programmes aspire to high quality artistic and creative experiences that empower and connect people.

We have 5 creative programmes, which include Arts for All, aimed at older people and families, Learning by Art, aimed at children and young people, Art of Wellbeing, aimed at the learning disabled and others with physical or mental health issues, Wild @ Art, which has a focus on sustainability and the environment and Skills & Thrills, which looks at developing participatory arts practice.

Our activities encompass a broad range of art forms, including craft, dance, drama, film, literature, music, visual arts and digital media arts. These diverse activities are delivered through participatory workshops, films, exhibitions, installations, taster sessions, talks, demonstrations and publications. We are unique in our capacity and ability to reach and work with all ages and abilities and this is of great importance to us.

A lot of our work happens with vulnerable, marginalised and hard to reach individuals and communities. Our goal is to provide activities that are stimulating, innovative, fun, engaging, entertaining and resonant to all those who take part.  By enhancing and encouraging creativity throughout our region of benefit we provide access and support to schools, youth centres, older people, refugees and asylum seekers, the homeless, children and adults with learning difficulties, young carers, dialysis patients, LGBTQ communities, people with mental health and many more.

We have the Level 1 Trusted Charity (previously PQASSO) quality mark that demonstrates that our organisation has sound governance practices, financial and risk management procedures and a robust system for measuring outcomes.
