Objectives

From Fenland in the north of the county to the villages south of Cambridge, the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity (ARHC) supports over 4,000 patients and their families every year, as in-patients, day patients, or in their own homes. Both the hospice in Cambridge and the ARHC Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech have been ranked outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Our positive, practical services provide care, counselling and education, helping patients to live well and their families to live on.

Activities

Our vision

Our vision is to provide patients and their families with the highest quality end-of-life care by achieving excellence in everything we do and making every moment count

Our mission

We will achieve this through the delivery of excellent, innovative and compassionate specialist and community-based palliative care. We will support patients with a life-limiting diagnosis to improve their quality of life and fulfil their choices at the end of their lives.
