We are an inclusive children’s theatre company in Islington. Our mission is to give access to the transformative power of participation in the performing arts to children and young people, irrespective of their ability or ability to pay. As a result, we enable greater inclusion for those most likely to be otherwise excluded: disabled children and young people, those with social, emotional and mental health needs, learning difficulties or disadvantaged backgrounds.
Through dynamic weekly workshops in term time (for 5-19 year olds, across four age groups), a Music Collective, a Dance Company, end of term performances and outreach projects, we aim to grow and maintain in children and young people a strong sense of belonging to a community; the ability to form relationships, especially with those unlike themselves; confidence in their abilities and what they can achieve.
These we believe to be the building blocks of good mental health and social cohesion.
