TreeHouse is the national charity for autism education, founded in 1997 by a group of parents, whose children had recently been diagnosed with severe autism. TreeHouse aims to transform the lives of all children with autism and the lives of their families.
TreeHouse runs two fully integrated and interdependent services:
(i) an exemplar school, serving the London region, which will eventually educate 80 children aged 3-19 with autism and severe learning difficulties
(ii) a National Development Team providing extended school services, parent support, training, consultancy and campaigning (serving the whole of the UK).
