Objectives

Alternative Learning Trust is a multi academy trust formed to provide a 'home' for Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and Alternative Provision (AP). We educate young people from Primary age up to Year 11. The Limes College in Sutton was the initiating organisation for the Trust and converted to an academy within the Trust on 1 June 2019.

Activities

The Trust was developed to provide a strong, sustainable, supportive and vocal home for provisions which are often under-supported, under-funded and thought of last in national and local policy and funding. The Trust was founded on non-negotiable values based on foundation stone beliefs of: the need for people to flourish in all areas of their lives; that we are stronger through a sense of community; that social justice is vital and the ability to give and receive unconditional regard is essential. We are seeking committed, enthusiastic Trustees and local Governors to join our growing Trust: volunteers who are willing to serve the most vulnerable in our communities.
