Objectives

The Albion Trust was established in the 1990's to meet the needs of the third sector in providing affordable high quality work space. It created the first shared third sector office space in Scotland by converting a redundant lifted school building. It went on to convert a redundant adjacent church building to provide fully accessible training, meeting and conference facilities for the third sector and the community. Work was carried out using low carbon, renewable energy policies and approaches.

Activities

Provides business facilities to allow the third sector to carry out its work in affordable high quality fully accessible premises. Seeks and promotes shared working and resource sharing to help the sector become sustainable. Provides facilities for community use at low cost out of working hours.
