Our aims are to educate the public about food production from seed to plate. This will be an on farm learning experience in which the benefits of STEM on our family farm and it’s benefits to increase welfare and efficiency will be explained.
A skills for all project will also be set up which will enable people to develop life skills such as growing their own food, self sufficiency and personal development. We are also looking at working with elderly support groups, mental health groups and groups that support with disabilities.
We will be an on farm interactive educational Hub, this will use farm animals to engage the public and hopefully educate them on food production, the importance of understanding where your food comes from. How to grow your own food and skills needed to help with such activities.
