Objectives

Age UK Sutton is a Company Limited by Guarantee governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association. In October 2011 we rebranded from Age Concern Sutton to Age UK Sutton. We are registered as a charity with the Charity Commission.

We are the leading voluntary sector provider of services to older people in the London Borough of Sutton.

Age UK Sutton has developed many services since launch in 1991; its income has grown from £29,247 in 1991, to a turnover of £915,300 to the year ending March 2015.

The organisation exists to improve and maintain the quality of life of people in later life living in and around the London Borough of Sutton.

Activities

Age UK Sutton is a vital and empowered, user led organisation supported by a skilled and dedicated team of staff and volunteers committed to delivering quality services.

At the heart of our work is the involvement of users and customers who campaign and influence to shape and enhance both existing and future services in the LB of Sutton.

Our users have an effective ‘voice’ representing older people on key strategic health and social care partnerships and are represented on a wide range of planning groups. Age UK Sutton involves volunteers of all ages, both in service delivery, user involvement and as Trustees.
