Objectives

Age UK Plymouth is an independent local Charity and a brand partner of the national Age UK charity.  We have operated for over 75 years in the City of Plymouth and our mission is to care for and work with older people and their carers to improve their quality of life through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence.

We do that through a range of services which includes:

- Outreach Help at Home and Community Support service

- Day centre opportunities

- Information and Advice service

- Active Ageing Centre

- Caring for Carers project.

We are committed to continual review of our services to ensure that we are meeting the changing needs of those in later life.  We value creative thinking and want our services to be responsive to those changing needs.

With experienced and dedicated Trustees, an exceptionally committed team and immensely supportive volunteers, Age UK Plymouth is well placed to meet the challenges ahead.
