Objectives

Advocacy for All: bigger voices - better lives. We are an established charity providing a range of advocacy and support services and have a passion for the rights and choices of people; ensuring people are meaningfully involved in their own lives and their local communities. We work in Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham, Greenwich, Sutton and Kent providing advocacy support to a wide range of people and communities including with people with learning difficulties, an Autistic Spectrum Condition, young people and people with mental health issues.

Our work helps people lead better lives, to empower them to speak up for themselves and access their local communities. We also protect the rights of people who are unable to speak up for themselves, or who need help in expressing their views.

Activities

We work with individuals and groups, provide advocacy support in a variety of ways. We have a wide range of contracts, mostly funded by Local Authorities, this includes providing advocacy support for people under relevant legislation, such as The Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act. We also support people with advocacy in the community, Speaking Up groups and providing consultancy, led by people with a learning difficulty such as producing Easy Read documents and training people with a learning difficulty in Keeping Safe and safeguarding work.
