We aim for decent, secure and affordable private rented homes with access to rights and justice for all regardless of income.
We were set up by and for private tenants back in the 1980s. We developed a lot since then, but private renters remain at the heart of our work.
We run a Housing Advice Centre providing specialist advice, advocacy and representation, including legal proceedings.
We consult and involve tenants in decisions ranging from their own homes and neighbourhoods, to housing policy and how the law should change to improve private tenants' lives, to how we run our own organisation.
We encourage financial inclusion through Brent Mutual, the branch of Hillingdon Credit Union which we run and a range of other activities to help people to get and stay in control of their finances.
