The Advantage for Young People

What is the Advantage?

We use experiential learning workshops and coaching to raise awareness of the seven skills of adaptability, empathy, critical thinking, integrity, optimism, being proactive and resilience. These are skills which are key to addressing offending behavior and making positive choices.

Why does it work?

  • It focuses completely on what is happening with a group of young people in the moment
  • It accelerates learning and provides a safe environment for young people to explore their behaviour and identity
  • It engages each young person
  • It’s a tried and tested model and has proven to have an immediate impact on young people
  • It can lead to an ASDAN accredited employability qualification
  • It’s run by a young, male role model facilitator
