Objectives

We help underpriveleged GCSE pupils who are on the C/D borderline. They are also based in schools where the FSM is above 30%. By providing tutoring support for Maths and English we aim to help these pupils achieve a C grade. This allows them to achieve their potential and move on to future education, employment or training.

Activities

We send volunteer tutors into inner city schools. Each tutor will work with 2 pupils at a time, for one hour a week, for 8 weeks. This improves the student's chance of getting a C grade in Maths and / or English.
