Objectives

We are a registered charity (SC008578) based in Aberlemno, between Forfar and Brechin.

We maintain the Aberlemno Village Hall for the good of the whole community. It is used by the local Church, primary school and community council.

We do not have any other facilities in Aberlemno, with the nearest shops, pubs, restaurants, doctors etc being 7 miles away.

Activities

We are a small but active committee that look after the Aberlemno Village Hall which is available for hire as well as being used for regular local events such as plant sales, Christmas Fair, coffee mornings etc. We also have a Pictish Room at the back of the Hall which houses a number of Pictish stones and replicas. We open this one day each month on a donations basis.

The Hall should be a real hub of the community - a place where people can get together for a variety of reasons including to support their mental well being, reduce loneliness and to enjoy being part of an active and vibrant community.
