The Abbeyfield Society is a nationwide charity. Some Abbeyfields are managed centrally from the national office in St Albans, many, like ourselves, are independently run by a committee of Volunteer Trustees. The aims of our society are:
To provide supported sheltered accommodation of the highest quality for lonely older people
To encourage and assist independent living
To provide support,companionship and security
We help and support our residents by providing regular activities, entertainment and social occasions when they can interact with members of our local community.
