The Society is an independent affiliate of The Abbeyfield Society. Its beneficiaries are older people. The Society owns and runs a 32 bed residential care home on the shores of Morecambe Bay, and also manages and supports an adjoining independent living development. Our objective is to be the best in the sector and to expand the existing services to include care for those with more serious dementia.
The Society employs well qualified managers and well trained staff jn the running of the business. A quality review group of suitably qualified volunteers ensure that the services offered are of the highest standard. Additionally the Friends of Cove House raise funds for the residents' outings and extra comforts via events such as an annual garden party, coffee mornings, quiz nights, etc.
