The Abbeyfield Sidmouth Society provides supported accommodation for elderly but independent people.
The Society, which is registered with the Charity Commission and Companies House , operates under the aegis of the HCA Regulator of Social Housing and is part of the national Abbeyfield network.
It owns and manages 3 houses in Sidmouth. These are not care homes, but its trustees and staff all care. Between them the three houses offer a variety of accommodation for up to 60 singles/couples who enjoy independence along with companionship. Day- to- day management of the service is the responsibility of 3 full-time House Managers and their staff.
