Objectives

The Laurels offers affordable, high quality living for older people who want to be as independent and as self-reliant as possible without the worry of maintaining their own home or becoming lonely. Residents are required to look after themselves in their own rooms, with the benefit of two cooked meals a day in the communal dining room, ensuring that a family feeling is part of our and our residents home. Loneliness is the modern day problem which our society aims to relieve.

Activities

We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of regular social activities including coffee mornings, sherry mornings and garden parties.  Our residents get together twice a day to eat, lunch and dinner together and spend time with each other.
