Objectives

Abbeyfield Oxford Society provides supported retirement accommodation for up to eleven people in a lovely Victorian home.  Residents enjoy:

  • An independent lifestyle with no worries about housekeeping or cooking meals.
  • Own ensuite room with communal lounge, dining area, conservatory and large garden.
  • Safety and security, with 24 hour alarm and staff on hand every day.
  • Close to bus routes, shops, restaurants and the city centre.
  • Affordable "all-in" rent, including food and utilities.

Residents are provided with conditions where they can meet socially and avoid lonliness whilst fully enjoying their independence.

Activities

Residents are supported to live independently whilst having the security of staff support should they need it. Residents are encouraged to suggest and participate in arranging trips, visits and activities that they are mutually interested in. Our charges are modest because we dont make a commercial profit, but our finances are strong and we meet the quality requiremnts of the national Abbeyfield certification.
