Our Society provides sheltered accommodation, meals and support to elderly residents, typically in their 70s to 90s and no longer able to live alone, but not yet in need of full-time care. Through our staff and volunteers, we aim to alleviate loneliness and offer the emotional and practical support needed for them to live the life they wish as independently as possible.
The small communities created by the residents of the "studio rooms" in our two houses offer safe, warm and companionable spaces overseen by an experienced house manager and supported by volunteers. Regular home-cooked meals, utilities and rates are all covered by a single monthly rent, providing a nutritional diet and easing financial concerns.
