Provides Sheltered Housing for the over 65`s in 2 old Victorian houses in Dunfermline. We pride ourselves on providing a family atmosphere with the House Manager being the head of the household and looking after everyone within it. Tenants have their own bedsit rooms and come together for home cooked meals provided daily in the dining area by the House Manager. The House Manager will contact Tenants families or a doctor if they are unwell. Tenants rooms are cleaned weekly by our cleaner and their personal washing is done and returned to them clean and fresh. The cleaner changes the beds fortnightly and the sheets go to a local Laundry. Tenants can come and go as they please and many describe us as a 5 star hotel.
We have a coffee morning every week in both houses where volunteers come for a chat with the Tenants. We also try to have activities on a monthly basis so the tenants have something to look forward to, this has been slightly curtailed due to covid but now getting back on track. We try to cater for all needs and have music evenings, quizzes, beetle drives, outings and special parties at Christmas etc.
