Objectives

3rd Edgware is a Jewish Scout Group affiliated to and sponsored by Edgware & Hendon Reform Synagogue who allow us to use their site free of charge for weekly meetings and to store our equipment.

Our group is made up of a Beaver Colony (ages six to eight), a Cub Pack (ages eight to 10½) and a Scout Troop (ages 10½ to 14). All sections are open to both boys and girls.

Whilst we are affiliated to a Reform synagogue, we find that our members join us from all denominations of the Jewish community.

Activities

The Scout Association is the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation, offering six to 25 year olds, both boys and girls, the chance to take part in fun and challenging activities, unique experiences and every day adventures.

We help our members reach their full potential by developing life skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership, whilst taking part in activities as diverse as archery, canoeing and abseiling.

There’s something for every young person in Scouting and is a great way to have fun, make new friends and experience the great outdoors.
