The MS Trust supports people with Multiple Sclerosis by providing the best information possible. 

What will you be doing?

There are a variety of tasks you may be asked to get involved with. They could include:

  • Look at the descriptions for our videos and amend the text so it is more SEO friendly.
  • Add relevant links and cards to historical videos to redirect people to donate or more information on our website.
  • Add chapter sections into longer videos such as the podcast videos.
  • Research YouTube trends, who is making popular relevant MS based content? What subjects are they covering.
  • Potentially redesign some of the older out of date thumbnails.
  • Researching and creating creative content for different social media channels.
  • Assisting with other social media projects that arise

What are we looking for?

  • Commitment to MS Trust’s values.
  • Ability to work within MS Trust’s Safeguarding & Volunteering policies and guidelines.
  • An understanding of how YouTube works
  • An understanding of SEOs, trends and creating content for social media
  • Good written communication skills, with accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively when sharing content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and motivated to work as an individual.
  • Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online – remaining calm, balanced, and neutral.

Volunteers will need their own equipment (Laptop/Tablet, broadband etc).This role is for a volunteer who can spare some time during the week to carry out these tasjs. It does not have to be during office hours, though it will occasionally be necessary to have meetings with the MS Trust Comms team during the day. This role can be carried out from home.

What difference will you make?

We are looking for volunteers to support our Information & Communication team on our YouTube channels with an aim to maximise engagement, promote volunteering and raise awareness of the MS Trust's campaigns. Could you help us?
