As a Youth Worker and Cadet Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering fun, engaging and educational activities to help cadets thrive. You'll lead sessions that promote personal development, teamwork and maritime skills while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a variety of activities and lessons, including leadership, navigation and water-based skills
Act as a mentor and role model for cadets, providing guidance and encouragement
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all cadets during training and events
Collaborate with other volunteers to plan and execute unit events and programs
Monitor the progress and development of individual cadets, providing feedback and support as needed
You'll get the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people.
You'll help empower young people with skills, confidence and resilience to excel in life, whilst helping them to foster a sense of teamwork and community.
You'll provide young people with opportunities to explore maritime traditions and activities, contributing to building a generation of responsible and capable leaders.
