As we expand our site, we are looking for people with experience in business and charity development.

What will you be doing?

ESSA Water Activities Centre is a charity that promotes the development of young people in achieving their full potential physically, intellectually and socially through the medium of sailing and other water-based activities.

We are looking for people who can help our business side develop; fundraising, marketing and graphics, CRM experience (to help our new booking system), legal advice, draft documents, or review policies etcetera, as part of our ongoing work to expand the charity and bring in more customers.

There would be the possibility of the volunteer becoming a trustee if that would be of interest in the future. We currently have five trustees.

What are we looking for?

A multitude of skills would help us, including in marketing and sales, business development, corporate law, IT and comms, HR, fundraising, and, of course, any water-based activities (sailing instructors, safety boat drivers, paddlers, etc.)

What difference will you make?

Your help will allow us to build our charity, bringing in more people and allowing us to better understand our customer base and how better to meet our charitable aims.
