Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

Help transform our charity website to help take us to the next level.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a volunteer who can help adapt and customise our former Wix website content that has been transitioned to WordPress.

What are we looking for?

Experience in WordPress and website updates and innovation. Bring your creativity, teamworking and communication background to a great group of people. You need to be able to:

Customise existing themes or develop custom themes
Develop and modify plugins to enhance website functionality
Ensure website performance, speed, and SEO best practices
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders, and train marketing volunteer (already in post) in Wordpress to support ongoing maintenance.
Manage site backups, and troubleshooting
Optimise websites for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
Implement and manage security measures, updates, and patches
Maintain documentation for workflows, plugins, and codebase

What difference will you make?

The new website will be the top focus for all our fundraising and global reach. You will be able to be part of a digital team, supporting the charity to increase our impact, helping children in poor communities around the world get a better quality education - that will transform their futures.
