We are taking our sessions online and looking for support with social media - especially Instagram - from a volunteer with social media and marketing expertise, who is passionate about food and young people.

What will you be doing?

We are a charity with a difference. We believe that delicious food prepared from scratch and eaten together communally can help young people lead happier, healthier lives. We require support to reach a broader audience with our offering.

We are urgently looking for an experienced social media marketer to work with us as we respond to Covid-19. As we prepare to take our sessions online and deliver them live on Instagram, we require the support of a volunteer to help us:

  • Manage our Instagram account
  • Write and edit marketing content for our social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram and our website)
  • Build a strategy to increase our social media following and interaction
  • Build digital fundraising and awareness campaigns
  • Develop a coherent brand voice across all digital platforms

We would like to work with a volunteer who is able to support us at this curial time and who would be willing to continue to do so on an ongoing basis and able to volunteer a few hours per project when necessary.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is:

  • Passionate about equal access to good food
  • Upbeat, motivated by difficult challenges, and tenacious in solving them
  • Organised, dedicated and conscientious, with fantastic attention to detail
  • Committed to communicating in a way that is compelling, clear, accurate and accessible
  • Shares the values of Eat Club

What difference will you make?

This is a vital role that will enable us to take our delivery online and deliver live cooking sessions to young people in the summer months. With your help we will be able to grow our impact and reach young people virtually while we are unable to do so in person.

What's in it for the volunteer?

Eat Club is a small and dynamic organisation and as such this role represents a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to the progress of the organisation and the individuals it supports.
