We are looking for an experienced website specialist to help run and maintain our website!

What will you be doing?

The International Association for Democracy (IAD) is an NGO that works to defend and advance democracy around the globe. We link people with their governments and lobby governments to promote, strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions, processes, norms and values at home and abroad. We also work towards raising public awareness about the current state of democracy around the world and what should be done to better defend and promote democracy. IAD is looking for a Website Officer to run and maintain the website. This role is expected to take 3-5 hours per week.

Objectives of this Role

Run and maintain IAD’s website
Transfer the current website from Google Sites to Wordpress
Add new functionalities to the website when needed, e.g., mailing list sign-up form
Upload content to IAD’s website
Work closely with other teams to ensure the website is up-to-date with information about IAD’s activities
Monitor and manage website analytics

What are we looking for?

Skills and Qualifications

Passion for promoting democracy, rule of law and human rights as well as IAD’s mission
This role is expected to take 3-5 hours per week.
Previous experience in setting-up and managing websites

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of website cookies and experience ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Proficiency in email marketing platforms and CRM software (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
