Website & Interactive Social Platform design.

Digital Champions. Trainers for Digital Inclusion to onboard Carers onto our platform and train how to use website, email & text.

What will you be doing?

BCC is launching a Volunteering & Befriending Service, which aims to recruit Volunteers and Befrienders, who will offer their time and expertise, to support over 30,000 unpaid carers in the London Borough of Brent.

During the 2-year lockdown BCC ran a Volunteering & Befriending trial service, to support its Carers remotely and this was very well received. We now wish to build upon the success of this pilot service by developing a State-of-the-Art Website & Portal, to attract skilled and enthusiastic people of all ages, as Volunteers & Befrienders, to help us support the many hard working selfless Carers across our Borough.

We wish to build an online Interactive Website & Portal that will encourage awareness of the value of unpaid Carers and support our Volunteers, Cares and their Cared-for.

We would like to take advantage of the wonderful developments in technology & social media, to maximize our efforts to bring awareness to our Carers and the public at large.

To this end, we are seeking expert help to build a State-of-the-art Platform.

What are we looking for?

Expert, up-to-date skills in Website design and Interactive Social Platform/Portal design.

Digital Inclusion training skills, to onboard our Carers onto our platform (how to use website, email & text).

What difference will you make?

A healthy supported network of Carers will be a great help to our struggling NHS, Emergency & Support Services.

Raising awareness and encouraging a healthy sense of responsibility by promoting Volunteering will help to promote a sense of social responsibility, which is the backbone of any healthy nation.

Both our Carers and Cared-for of all ages will be able gain Invaluable Skills through their interaction on our Website & Portal, and with each other.
