This is an exciting opportunity to transform an existing website, in order to support people with their mental health. We are looking for someone to give it an effective make-over and we are keen to make major changes.
We are looking for a creative and collaborative website designer. We are in the Google Ads Non Profit Programme (with a daily budget of $329), so it would be useful if you had knowledge of Google Ads, but this is not essential. The ads result in about 180 daily visits to our website, however most people do not stay long. We want someone to develop the site so it is more engaging, and encourages more people to make enquiries or bookings. The website is with Wix; we can do the actual editing ourselves so are mainly looking for someone to make no-code suggestions rather than do the actual edits.
We run four 9-week courses a year, plus weekly drop-in sessions, 1:1s, sessions in schools and businesses. Our current marketing focus is on promoting our autumn courses. Most classes are offered online as well as in-person, in Dorking, Redhill and Reigate, Surrey

We are looking for someone who is able to evaluate our current website and see how it can be improved (primarily in order to get more course bookings).
Ideally the volunteer has experience with Google Ads and SEO also.
If the person has experience of Wix that would be useful but is not essential.
No meditation or mindfulness experience is needed, although it would be good if you were open to its value. What is more important is an interest in mental health, and a sense of the frame of mind people might be in when they visit the website.

As Website Designer, you will play an important role in promoting Mindful Surrey's online presence. As a result of this, more people will find out about mindfulness and sign up for our classes, improving their ability to thrive and live with ease and greater happiness.
