We promote the Caribbean and African heritage through developing arts, archive, education and community projects – by bringing to life the narratives, histories and knowledge discovered found in the Huntley Collections.

What will you be doing?

We need a creative person with website design / creation expertise, flair and attention to detail to help us develop our websites. Key tasks are:

  • Building CMS websites, using WP templates 
  • Using your experience and creativity to help us make our websites attractive and accessible
  • Helping to manage website content and liaising with volunteers to upload content
  • Help us with analytics, if possible, so that we can find ways to drive traffic to our websites via social media
  • Ability to work on your own, remotely, with little or no supervision
  • You will be a very valued member of our volunteer team and will have a voice in projects!

What are we looking for?

  • We are keen to find someone who is Interested in arts, heritage, creativity, social justice and activism
  • We need you if you enjoy improving profiles and imagery via a website
  • Hopefully you are full of motivation, confidence, experience and design flair to help us develop our project websites.
  • Creative and confident self-starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a volunteer team.
  • We need you to be positive, motivated and a good communicator
  • Willing and able to create interesting, easy to access websites and web pages
  • Able to work on your own with little or no supervision
  • Able to follow instructions and to make amends – sometimes things change!
  • Willing to put your ideas forward and to share them with us.
