School of Sexuality Education is a charity looking for an experienced Manager to develop and maintain our website to increase stakeholder engagement.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for people who can help us manage our website and raise awareness of inclusive Relationships and Sex Education in empowering young people to lead happier, safer lives.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out audits of our current website and suggest improvements to the navigation design and user experience.
  • Maintain the Charity's website on an ongoing basis.
  • Liaising with facilitators and the CEO to update content on the website on a regular basis and helping to design new and engaging pages; 
  • Ensuring website function, consistency and stability across devices; 
  • Review Google analytics to suggest and implement improvements on the website.
  • Monitoring and managing search engine optimisation (SEO). 
  • You will work with our Communications Team, facilitators, our illustrator, and the CEO.

What are we looking for?

An enthusiastic volunteer to join our busy team who will take ownership of managing the Charity's website and keeping it up to date.

Skills and experience

  • Volunteers with an interest in education, particularly the transformative impact of inclusive Relationships and Sex Education.
  • Squarespace web design.
  • Previous experience of managing a website.
  • Experience of search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Excellent writing skills with an attention to detail.
  • Manage their own workload.
  • Access to a computer and the internet.

We are looking for people to commit to 1-2 hours a week.

What difference will you make?

Volunteers will play a key role in raising awareness of the charity's work, and help bust myths and taboos around sex, relationships, bodies, and health. By helping us improve our website, you will help us reach new stakholders, such as teachers, donors, and funders.
