This role will focus on creating a user-friendly experience that effectively promotes our charity's mission and goals. Your contribution will directly impact how we engage with our community and showcase the essential work we do.The key deliverable is a modern, user-friendly website that effectively communicates our charity's mission and engages our audience. You will collaborate closely with the charity’s social media team, who will provide guidance on content and branding. While we have specific goals for the website’s redesign, there is flexibility in how you can contribute to the design process, allowing room for your creative input. Your work will directly impact how we connect with the community and promote our mission
Web Design and Development: Proven experience with web design and development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with popular CMS platforms like WordPress or other web management tools.
User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI) Design: Ability to create intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing websites.
Responsive Design: Experience designing websites that work well across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a remote team, especially with our social media team to align on content and branding.
Creativity and Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to solving design challenges.
