Will you 'Shake My Hand' to help and support Survivors of rape and sexual abuse and join the Campaign Team as our Volunteers Manager?

What will you be doing?

As our Volunteers Manager your duties and tasks would include:

Developing a budget and assessment of available resources for the volunteer program activities. 

Conducting continuous evaluation of programs and services delivered by the Volunteers and implement corrections where necessary.

Developing and implementing effective strategies to recruit Volunteers with the right skills at the right time to match the interest of the organisation.

Enlightening and clarifying Volunteers on their roles and responsibilities. 

Ensuring that Volunteers are well supervised.

Researching and drafting Volunteer policies and procedures. 

Ensuring that the welfare of Volunteers is high.

Key Deliverable: Ensuring that the Campaign's well-respected and valuable Volunteers are managed and supported effectively and efficiently. 

Team: You will report directly to the Campaign Founder and will be responsible for over-seeing up to 20 Volunteers.

What are we looking for?

Experience in human-resource planning, management, business spreadsheets, and word processing.

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. 

Strong analytical, leadership, and planning skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Strong computer skills and proficiency in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications. 

Attention to detail and a clear understanding of the sector and the ability to handle information confidentially.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a diverse type of people. 

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Good work ethics, a flexible and non-judgmental approach to people.
