What will you be doing?

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a volunteer youth mentor at Manhood Academy Global, located in the London area of the United Kingdom, with flexibility for some remote work. As a volunteer youth mentor, you will play an important role in assisting young boys in their transition to adulthood. You will use your mentoring skills to guide, empower, and inspire young boys by offering support and guidance in various areas of their lives. Your daily responsibilities will include organising and delivering mentorship programmes, conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions, facilitating group activities, and creating a positive and inclusive environment for personal growth and development.

  • Knowledge of adolescent development and the challenges faced by young boys

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Respect for diversity and a commitment to promoting inclusivity
  • Previous experience in mentoring or working with youth
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
