We are looking for individuals who are interested in managing volunteer opportunities and liaising with people who are applying for roles, arranging volunteer events to enable our volunteers to learn more about our work and meet one another.

What will you be doing?

Administrative, diary management, time management, good relational skills, a good amount of time available, keen to develop relationships with other volunteers.

What are we looking for?

Most importantly we need someone who has significant time available and will be committed to seeing this role through for the next 5 years.

We would like to ask for someone that has 2 days a week available to volunteer and a passion and commitment to making a difference to the lives of others. This is both those who will gain an education thanks to your investment in this work as well as to the volunteers that you will be coordinating and liaising with.

We need someone who has fantastic administrative skills, time management skills and who is not shy in asking for help.

We would like someone who would be willing to contact venues to arrange volunteer gatherings and ask for a donation of space for us to meet.

We are excited to hear from you if you feel you fit this profile and can offer the charity this kind of commitment. Thank you for considering this role.

What difference will you make?

Bringing together our volunteers and helping us to build a strong network of volunteers will help enable EdUKaid to achieve our ambitious goals over the next 5 years of reaching half a million children in remote rural Africa with critical education.

Globally, over 300 million children are missing out on the most critical years of education due to a lack of access to early years education. This gap disproportionately affects children in remote rural areas, where infrastructure and resources are scarce. According to the United Nations, without immediate action, 37% of the world's children will not reach minimum proficiency levels in reading by 2030.

Your help will bridge a gap for children who currently are not accessing education to be able to have a brighter future. Thank you so much for considering this opportunity.

Before you apply

Please do contact us with details of your interest in this role. It would be great if you can put information about your time availability and why you think you would be suitable for this role.
