Mostly outside office hours Monthly board meeting meets 3rd Monday in the month, evening meeting from 7pm - 9pm, sometimes later.

The role of a Credit Union Director is to shape the strategic direction of the Credit Union; ensuring the credit union maintains a sound financial condition and operates within the law, rules and the Credit Union’s policies and procedures. 

What will you be doing?

As part of a team of Directors, you will bring your experience, knowledge and skills to work together in promoting the continued success of Advance CU.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has experience of working within the financial services sector or in a management role that has provided you with a clear understanding of business processes.

What's in it for the volunteer?

Commitment: As a director on the Board, you will be expected to attend the monthly evening board meetings, the Annual General Meeting and take responsibility for following through on actions between meetings.

-Minimum commitment required 4 hours/month
