We are looking for new volunteers to join our committee and support the branch by attending our monthly meetings, helping to organise events, communicating with our members and attending committee meetings.

What will you be doing?

Headway, the brain injury association, is a charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury.  The Headway Hartlepool branch is run by a small, dedicated group of volunteers. We hold monthly meetings for brain injury survivors, their families and carers. We also arrange regular social activities for our members.

  • Governance/Leadership (we are looking for a chairperson for our committee)

What difference will you make?

Headway Hartlepool is run entirely by volunteers, The position would be of interest to anyone looking to give something back to their local community, prepared to share their skills and support brain injured survivors, their families and carers.

As a volunteer you will be part of a team and will have the opportunity to add your unique skills and experience while learning from others.  Our volunteers support and shape our work , as well as help us achieve our purpose to improve the lives of survivors of a brain injury.
