Help us to reach more awareness and support more people born with a heart condition by videoing our talks

What will you be doing?

Somerville Heart Foundation seek a professional videographer who has their own equipment and is available on 7th June 2025 in the Glasgow area. We are holding our annual 'Hearts Together - Living with CHD' conference in Glasgow and would love someone to record the talks (video and audio) in the morning. Also there is an option to audio record the workshops and topical discussions in the afternoon too. If you are a confident interviewer this is also an option. This will, inevitably, involve some editing afterwards in your own time/location.

We would love to broadcast the talks live on our social media channel and aim to include the recordings on our website for those that are not able to attend and would really appreciate your expertise. It is a great day and you will meet some lovely people, if this sounds like your thing, please do get in touch. Do not worry if you are not familiar with live broadcasting, this is our first foray into this and not essential.

What are we looking for?

Own recording and editing equipment and experience of working with a charity a distinct advantage

Available on Saturday 7th June 2025 at The Crowne Plaza, Glasgow.

What difference will you make?

1 in 10 people are born with a heart condition, some are really poorly, in heart failure or waiting for an organ transplant, having access to their community and being able to see and listen to these talks means they are part of that community and feel less isolated and alone. You can make a real difference by bringing this important information to them, to their homes - there is nothing like the power of video if you cannot get around.

Before you apply

A link to previous work will be lovely
