Rise Up & Walk are looking for someone who has experience in filming events and uploading them to YouTube. The channel would be yours to run how you feel would work best for our project!
Rise Up & Walk is a project that equips, enables and empowers your girls aged between 8-16 to learn more about untaught black history, express themselves creatively through many different art mediums, learn Critical Thinking skills and meet experts in a plethora of different careers.
We hold events during the year and require someone to film the proceedings, capture testimonials from attendees and then upload them to YouTube to drive our marketing campaign, whilst sharing our mission to the world.
You would work closely alongside the Project Co-ordinators and would only be required on an ad-hoc basis. We are happy to work around your current schedule.
Our volunteer needs to be experienced in videography and photography, proficient in using YouTube and able to run and manage the Youtube channel with the content they have produced from our events.
Our aim is to help the youth see their own potential and use it to change not only their lives, but the lives around them. Your participation and expertise will help us thrive and make our long term growth sustainable, while strengthening our social media presence.
Videography skills are a fundamental part of our project as we receive our funding from BBC Children in Need, who regularly report back how much they enjoy seeing our project develop and grow. We capture footage, not only for our young people to witness and share but also to keep records for the BBC.
Please apply via Reach. The successful candidate will then be contacted for an informal interview via Zoom with the Project Co-ordinators
