Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK (SHH-UK) is a vibrant and purpose-driven charity dedicated to supporting healthcare workers across the UK living with Long Covid. These heroes, who selflessly cared for us during our times of need, now face uncertain futures both financially and personally. At SHH-UK, we are deeply committed to providing the comprehensive support they need to overcome these challenges. We are looking for two or three trustees to join our team.

What are we looking for?

  • Willingness and ability to understand and accept their responsibilities and liabilities as trustees and to act in the best interests of the organisation.

  • Effective communication skills and willingness to participate actively in discussion.
  • A strong personal commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Enthusiasm for our vision and mission.
  • Willingness to lead according to our charity’s values.
  • Commitment to Nolan’s seven principles of public life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
