Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Due to trustee retirement we are seeking new trustees to help us achieve our vision of an inclusive society with no barriers - just possibilities

What will you be doing?

We are currently seeking several new trustees to join and strengthen our dynamic and committed Board as we embark on an exciting new chapter in our organisation’s journey.

We welcome individuals from all walks of life who bring a diverse range of skills, perspectives, and experiences. In particular, we are keen to hear from candidates who have relevant lived experience, as we believe this insight is invaluable in guiding our work and ensuring we remain truly inclusive and representative of the communities we serve.

In addition to general trustee roles, we are also specifically looking to appoint a Treasurer who can support our finance team in maintaining strong financial oversight, ensuring long-term sustainability, and helping us meet our strategic goals through sound financial governance.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking new trustees with a broad range of skills, backgrounds, and experiences to complement and strengthen our current Board. Our aim is to build a well-rounded team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

Given our existing focus on social care and employment support, we are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with professional or lived experience in these areas. However, we welcome applications from anyone who brings fresh perspectives and a commitment to our mission.

What matters most is your passion for driving positive change and your ambition to help us achieve lasting impact for disabled people. If you can work collaboratively, think strategically, and are motivated to contribute meaningfully to our future, we would love to hear from you.

What difference will you make?

If you are passionate about equality, inclusion, and accessibility, and are looking for a meaningful way to contribute to positive change, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your voice and expertise could play a crucial role in shaping our future.

Before you apply

Please contact us via Reach.  Interviews will be held on 13/14 May 2025, although we may be able to accommodate other dates in exceptional circumstances
